I have felt the call to ministry over the past few years during my involvement with Cru while in college. With Cru, I was able to go on two six-week summer missions to Prague in 2022 and 2023.  I also work with about 15 Czech people at my summer job (they are here on work visas for 4 months), some of which live in Prague! The relationships that I formed with students during my summer missions and at work are a HUGE motivation to go back. I want them to know Christ, and I want to join God in His work in them. Most Czech students that I’ve met have never known a real Christian, and most of them view Christianity as something of Western culture, not something that’s applicable to their lives. They are open to talking about spiritual topics, but it’s not something they think about often. For most Czech people, it’s going to take a Christian being deeply involved in their life for a significant amount of time before they begin to consider Christianity. This means that ministry is typically very slow, but we have seen God begin to slowly change the hearts of multiple Czech students I know! Because of this reality, and the small number of Christian laborers currently in Prague, I have committed to a second year of internship with Campus Crusade for Christ in Prague, and I will be co-leading this year's team! Your involvement in this ministry makes that possible, and I am eternally grateful! I ask that you would be praying for our team as we adjust this year, especially the new members who will come to Prague for the first time, and for the countless Czech students that we will interact with this year, that they would be open and interested in knowing Jesus!
