“When I moved to Orlando from Colombia several years ago, I thought life would be an endless vacation. But the reality was very different. My parents decided to get a divorce, and I felt trapped in a dark spiral. Without my culture, language, and family to rely on, I had no hope. A few years later, I received Christ at a church service. After that, my life was not magically perfect. However, when I learned about God’s endless love, faithfulness, and forgiveness, my problems became manageable.”

Daniela got involved with a Cru ministry at her high school and started to grow in her faith. She returned to Colombia with Cru on a mission trip. Daniela used her cultural knowledge and native language to speak in classes of Colombian high school students. That summer, nearly 300 students heard the gospel and 63 students started a relationship with Jesus for the first time! After she returned, she shared her story with 130 students at her high school and 11 students began a relationship with Jesus in the chorus room of her public school.
Whether in her school or abroad, Daniela is a missionary at 17 years old!
