In fact, as we take some major steps of faith ourselves, we are deeply aware that we cannot follow this calling without your faithful prayer, generous support, and maybe even joining us in practical ways (have a think about coming on a trip with us?).  

We are truly grateful, and believing that you too will be blessed as you play an important part of our team. We will keep you in our prayers too, and commit to update you regularly. It’s our goal that our partners will feel as much a part of this ministry as we do. 

What we are doing…

We aim to demonstrate the life changing love of God to reveal hope, restore lives and create movements. As a missionary couple within the global Cru family, we will be focusing on two key global strategies: Global Aid Network (GAiN) and Church Movements. 

Mia’s Focus - GAiN…

The Global Aid Network (GAiN) is the humanitarian aid strategy within Cru (In Australia, Cru is called ‘Power to Change’). GAiN exists to demonstrate the love of God, in word and deed, to hurting and needy people around the world. Globally, GAiN practically provide relief and development in over 50 nations. Through our team in Australia, GAiN focuses on leading short-term, medical missions trips into Asia-Pacific, responding to major disasters, and taking teams to create safe drinking water for communities in Africa through building water wells and implementing water filtration.

Mia has stepped into the leadership role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), serving the team by bringing new projects, partnerships, and strategies to assist growth and even greater impact in the future.

It has been a lifelong calling to step into humanitarian aid full-time. With over 20 year’s experience in business, leadership, and having a passion for those in need, Mia is able to apply organisational growth and systemisation strategies to support the expansion of GAiN. As she serves alongside the CEO, leading GAiN to reach new heights, she is leading transformation and impact of needy individuals and communities around the world.

Troy’s Focus - Church Movements…

“Church Movements” perfectly aligns with Troy’s heartfelt passions, tapping directly into his church leadership experience of over 30 years. Troy’s ministry will operate throughout Australia and internationally.  He is excited to focus on three key areas: 

1. Shiftm2M (shifting ministries into movements) - This disciple making framework centres on a case study of Jesus’ ministry which focuses on movement building principles. Through trainings, ongoing mentoring and coaching of pastors and leadership teams, Troy has a vision to support churches in their revitalisation, equipping them with the heart and strategies for multiplication. Through Shift M2M trainings and ongoing support, churches will implement the evangelistic, discipleship, and multiplication methods of Jesus.

2. MyFriends Training - Troy will also train everyday Christians to develop a lifestyle that creates opportunities for their friends and family in a post-modern, millennial, non-churched, western culture, to discover God’s story in a relevant and personal way. This powerful training is designed for the whole church, with a focus on building an outreaching culture, enabling everyone to build trusted friendships, learn how to share a verbal witness, know the ingredients of the gospel, and ultimately invite friends to know Christ personally. 

3. Our Generations - Troy has had a variety of church planting experiences, growing and pastoring small to large churches. From a complete startup, a relaunch, a sending plant, and a revitalisation, Troy has the background, to serve alongside churches that are preparing to take that next step of church planting. He has a deep passion to see church plants succeed where they can reveal the life giving hope of God, restoring broken lives, and building generational movements based on Jesus’ methods. Troy wants to see faith communities planted that also become generational through multiplying.

We are praying for those who feel called to become part of our Ministry Partner Team. We have called it, "Team Changemakers". As we are both serving full time we need to raise up a large team of partners to help us reach our budget.
