When I started college in 2020, I had no idea where I was going to belong. I felt overwhelmed and burdened by the options of who I thought I wanted to be. Most college students feel exactly the same way. They are lost and lonely and looking for a place where they belong. They are told they can find community and identity in worldly things, but these are only false promises. Almost 50% of college students struggle with symptoms of depression and nearly two-thirds report regularly feeling loneliness.

For me, I was able to find identity and community in Jesus when a friend invited me to an event with Cru. I found life that I didn't even know existed. God has blessed me and saved me and He used Cru to do so. I've seen the effect that students and staff in Cru have had on my life, and I know that it can be the same for many others out there who feel lost and empty. I have a strong passion for reaching college students and the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ! College students are our future, and they are the future of God's Kingdom too!

Now, God has called me to serve a year-long internship with Cru in Cincinnati, and I trust that He will use me to further His Kingdom and guide others to lifelong relationships with Jesus! Thank you for your prayers and faithful support in bringing the true word of God into the lives of college students!
