My Story

Hi!  My name is Kaiser Neverman and I am a former swimmer at the University of Minnesota!  I was blessed with the opportunity to get involved with Athletes in Action as a student in 2022 and am now part time field staff!  I worked in Northeastern Wisconsin for a year and now will be serving in Minneapolis.  I found Jesus in college through an Athletes in Action bible study and am passionate about giving other student athletes the same opportunity I had to find or grow their faith in Jesus!

Serving with Cru - Athletes in Action in Minneapolis:

The Lord called me back to my hometown in Green Bay, WI for a year and now has called me back to Minneapolis, MN for a master's of divinity program at Bethlehem College and Seminary.  While I am in seminary I will continue to serve with Athletes in Action as a part time field staff!  I will be reaching student athletes at my alma mater with the intention to bring them into discipleship.  In a Christ-led discipleship this is where students will be built up in Christ to live a sent life on their own team and campus.

Mission and why student athletes in Minneapolis?

• As a former college student-athlete I struggled with mental health in sports and have first-hand seen an identity epidemic infesting its way through the world of college athletics.  Jesus gives these athletes an eternal and true identity that will not fail.
  
• My mission is to reach students and student-athletes on campus in Minneapolis and to make disciples who make disciples.  That means I aim to foster relationships with student-athletes that give them an opportunity to build their relationship with Christ and are then able to disciple others.
• Student athletes have a unique platform to be leaders on their campuses and community that lets them reach wider audiences.
• The greater Minneapolis metro has over 100,000 college students!  This community is in need of staff that will put in the work to reach them with the message of the Gospel.
