Coming into to college, I found myself at a time of loneliness and isolation. I was struggling to find a place of comfort where I belonged and felt like I had no real connections.  That all changed when I became involved in Cru. When I began to be involved in the Cru community, I began to feel like I belonged. Through bible studies, weekly meetings, retreats, and relationships with fellow believers I found a place where I could call home. The Lord brought me into a loving and caring community that encouraged me to pursue a relationship with the Lord through Christ. The community has been a huge part of my faith journey and through it the Lord has transformed my life for good!

During my time with Cru as a student, I found that only Christ provides the comfort and satisfaction I was desperately looking for. College is a time where students look for an identity to call their own and my experience is one students can relate with. I believe the Lord is calling me to use my experiences and reach out to students going through similar experiences. I want to allow the Lord to work through me to encourage and help these students to put their trust in Christ. I recently graduated from Michigan State University and will be returning to intern on staff with Cru! I am very excited to see how the Lord will work in me and through me this coming year!
