Hampton Beach Summer Mission is a 10 week experience where students minister in one of the primary beach locales in New England. They will get ministry training and personal development from Cru staff. Each student receives a job in the community where they can put this training to work as they engage with their co-workers over spiritual things and the Gospel. The local churches in this area are few and they welcome the students with open arms. HBSM students serve with Sunday school, music ministry, and partner with outreaches. During the second half of the mission, students will take on areas of responsibility and provide leadership as the staff leave. They will take what they've learned in Bible study and in their training and put it to use as they continue the mission for four weeks, relying on God, each other, and the local churches. This unique experience equips them for ministering throughout adulthood in a variety of ways. Everyone enters Hampton Beach Summer Mission as a learner and emerges as a leader! This summer, in light of the pandemic, extra precautions and considerations have been put in place so that our mission remains a witness in both words and actions while not neglecting the spiritual needs of the students and community.
