Hello Friend,

If you take nothing else away from this letter, know that the man named Jesus is powerful, and that the sin which had previously kept you from Him does not serve to tell of who you are anymore, but of who Jesus is to people like us. I am not disqualified, and neither are you. He will never cast out those who come to him, and who is there to snatch us out of His hand?

This next year I'm going into full-time vocational ministry with Cru, a Christian ministry who's heart is to bring the Gospel to college students, build them in their faith, and send them out across the U.S. and to the world. When I decided to make the transition to Cru as a student my sophomore year, my only prayer was this: "Lord, let this be a place that collects broken people. Would people who don't feel seen or welcome elsewhere be able to come and hear about Jesus." Little did I know that our leader was praying the same thing, and Jesus was more than happy to deliver.

In the following months, our little group grew full of agnostics, people hurt by the church, and people confused about who God made them to be. Some were struggling with same-sex attraction and some with real spiritual oppression or addiction. Some were hard to be around at times, but all of them were loved by the Father.

These last two years I've gotten to see those agnostics come to Christ, I've gotten to introduce people who didn't want their life to someone who does want it, and I've gotten to see our students be the Body of Christ and love each other through tragedy. This generation is starving for God and looking for Him in all the wrong places. I'm ready to go tell them.

In order to reach hearts for God, I need to rely on the hearts His people. What I'm dong here is building a team of "ministry partners"—people who will join me in prayer, encouragement, and financial support to bring the Gospel to college-students. So, with all that considered my ask is this: Would you prayerfully consider becoming a monthly financial partner at $50, $100, $250, or any other amount that is significant to you? If you want to partner with what God is doing at UNF, you can press the "Give a Gift" button to join my team as a monthly or one-time partner.

I'd love to tell you the stories of the people mentioned here and to answer questions. Don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for coming along side me in the great commission to win these students to Christ.

"Everything belongs to God, and all things were created by his power. So God did the right thing when he made Jesus perfect by suffering, as Jesus led many of God's children to be saved and to share in his glory. Jesus and the people he makes holy all belong to the same family. This is why he isn't ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters." (Heb 2: 10-11 CEV)
