This summer I have an opportunity to participate in a leadership development mission trip with Cru in North Myrtle Beach, SC. For 4 weeks, I will be living with 60 other students and staff, working during the day and participating in a leadership development and outreaches in the evenings and over the weekends.

North Myrtle Beach is a popular destination for graduating high school seniors, making for very loud neighbors; we live among and talk to recent high school graduates, the freshman class of next year! As we live in community with each other, quality relationships are built, faith is solidified and memories are made!

I am realizing more and more that most young people don’t even know someone who knows Jesus. I am excited about trusting God to use me and our team to give young people in this community an opportunity to know that a relationship with God is possible. Besides engaging in outreach, I will also be mentored and challenged to grow in my walk with God and leadership potential.

The total cost for this summer mission is $4,500 which will cover our housing, materials, ministry expenses and some of my meals. Would you consider partnering with me in reaching people at North Myrtle Beach through a special gift?
