Doladé, Álvaro

#1390197

I’m Álvaro Doladé, married to María and father of Verso and Lago.

After more than 20 years as a creative, strategic designer and educator, I have joined Agape Spain, part of Cru in Europe, to help launch and lead Central Arts Barcelona.

Artists, designers and creatives shape culture, imagination, identity and public conversation. Yet many feel far from traditional expressions of church, and many Christian artists lack spaces where faith and vocation can grow together.

This matters in Europe today. In 2024, 7.9 million people worked in cultural employment across the EU, representing 3.8% of total employment. In Spain, cultural employment reached 771,000 people, 3.6% of total employment, after growing by 6.6% in 2024.

Central Arts is a movement exploring the intersection between faith, culture and creativity. In Barcelona, we want to disciple artists, create community, and respond to cultural tensions by opening new pathways into society through every form of artistic expression.

We believe art can transcend words, cross boundaries and awaken deep questions. We do this by curating, connecting, mediating, representing, creating and producing spaces and cultural experiences where artists can encounter Jesus, integrate faith and vocation, and bring beauty, truth and hope into the world.

Would you consider partnering with me prayerfully and financially as we build Central Arts Barcelona?
