“He delivers and rescues and performs signs and wonders in heaven and on earth,” (Daniel 6:27).

We know that the Middle East has a special place in Jesus’ heart. This is where our Savior was born, and where He grew up. It is a place where He would have built and created furniture with His dad, and fished and played with His brothers.

Sadly, the enemy has pitched a tent in Jesus’ backyard and now in Europe.

Many countries in the Middle East have become anti-Christian and vehemently opposed to the teaching of the gospel. In some places, the mere mention of Jesus Christ can mean harsh punishment and even death.

With recent violent events in Europe, more than ever it is time to reach out to Middle Eastern families with the truth and good news of “JESUS.”

The Strategy

As you read this, families from across the Arabian Peninsula are busy launching their summer vacations. And for the wealthier and more influential families, that means traveling to Europe.

Attracted by the cooler weather, and diverse community, more than 300,000 Arab families will visit London alone this summer.

This presents you and me with a special opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission – even in places hostile to the gospel!

Every DVD you send is a chance to build a bridge that leads to Jesus.

And this is your sneak-peak into how your gift can work to spread the message of eternal life in Jesus Christ to the Arab world.

This is a faith-sized goal, so let me tell you a story that shows how much heavenly power is in just one DVD.

The Story

After spending the summer in London, a Muslim woman stood at a border checkpoint patiently waiting to return to her Middle Eastern country. To keep our sister’s identity safe, I’ll call her “Farida.”

At customs, Farida could hear armed border control officers shouting loudly, and issuing travelers a stern, and ominous warning:

“IF YOU WERE GIVEN A DVD OR NEW TESTAMENT YOU MUST TURN THEM OVER, OR FACE SEVERE PUNISHMENT.”

Farida had not received anything while in London, so she confidently walked through the inspection point. But when she arrived home, and opened her handbag, Farida was shocked at what she found.

In her bag was a copy of the “JESUS” film DVD!

You and I both know that nothing can hold back the gospel of Jesus Christ. But sensing that God wanted her to have the “JESUS” film DVD, Farida invited her family for dinner and a movie.

What Farida told us about that night was nothing short of miraculous.

“All of us were very impressed. We were in tears. The Lord touched our hearts and everyone in my family gave our hearts to Christ.”

Today, Farida is leading her own underground house church—all because of a single “JESUS” film DVD!

The Opportunity

Our faith-sized goal is to give the “JESUS” film DVD and SD cards to as many Arab tourists and immigrants in Europe as we can.
