GAiN: Victims of Cyclone Idai Need Help and Hope

#0969978 - UNTO: Emergency Relief

Help meet people at their point of need when emergencies arise.

Cyclone Idai devastated parts of Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi. United Nations officials say it could be the worst weather-related disaster to ever hit the Southern Hemisphere.

Hundreds are dead and more than 400,000 people are now without homes in Mozambique alone. With numbers this staggeringly high, it is easy to lose hope that things will ever get better.

But there is hope.

You can provide support to bring immediate crisis and disaster relief so people can rebuild their lives in some of the toughest places on earth. Because our partners at Cru® work in more than 190 countries in the world, GAiN has access to teams prepared to serve quickly when disaster strikes.

Currently, we are in contact with field partners in Zimbabwe, one of three countries struck by Cyclone Idai on March 14, 2019. Our partners are assessing the most urgent needs in the area and sharing how we can respond with humanitarian assistance.

GAiN meets critical needs for victims of conflict, disaster, famine, and epidemics throughout the world by providing food, water, shelter, and medicine — all in the name of Jesus.

Consider a gift today to support the GAiN Disaster Response initiative and meet people at their point of need with crucial supplies when emergencies arise.

Thank you for expressing the kindness of Jesus through humanitarian aid.
