Snow. Ice. Freezing Rain. Bitter wind. Frigid temperatures.

Winter storms have severely hit Texas, while more potentially deadly storms are hitting parts of the east coast, hard.

But for America’s homeless — exposed to the elements, without shelter or even a pair of gloves to keep warm — these storms could all-too-easily be deadly.

And now, because of COVID-19, many shelters can’t take in more people, even during these deadly freezes.

Today, one simple gift of compassion from you could save someone’s life.

Cru Inner City is mobilizing and reaching out to communities in urgent need with Homeless Care Kits.

It takes just $36.30 to provide a Homeless Care Kit, containing:

  1. Warm gloves,
  2. A protective hat and socks,
  3. A comb, toothbrush/toothpaste, soap, razors, shaving cream, and other basics
  4. A thick blanket, and
  5. The Gospel of John, to bring lasting hope to someone who is hurting.

The need right now could not be more dire!

In many of these areas roads are closed making it difficult to access shelters and supplies are being rationed.

And as you can imagine, the homeless are especially vulnerable to such brutal weather conditions!
