On March 28, 2025, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake shook Mandalay, Myanmar, including a powerful 6.4 magnitude aftershock. The destruction and loss of life have been felt throughout the region, as far as Thailand. Thousands of buildings have been destroyed and countless families are currently displaced.
