We're grateful that you would consider a gift toward our ministry in Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.
Our desire is to be a pipeline of Christ-centered laborers for the fulfillment of the Great Commission, and the Lord has been gracious to use our staff to send mature and equipped graduates all over the world in marketplace and vocational ministry. This is not merely grandiose lofty language for a goal we only hope to achieve - just nice words to sell a vision. This is really what God uses Cru to do, and we're serious about stewarding this calling. How incredible it is to see young college men and women come to know life in the Savior and experience the kind of transformation that sends them out from college as leaders and laborers for Christ.
The need for laborers is great with more than 160,000 college students from Elyria to Youngstown and south to Wooster. Our team currently provides leadership for the evangelistic efforts of 9 student movements at:
Case Western Reserve
Baldwin-Wallace
Cleveland State
Youngstown State
Malone
Mt. Union
Cuyahoga Community College West
John Carroll (launching)
Lorain County Community College (launching)
There are 10 more campuses in our scope. As our current movements continue to grow, our local church partnerships expand, and more individuals partner with us, we will be in a position to offer greater resources for even greater impact on these campuses and beyond.
Ours is not a 1-year dream, but a 50-year dream. We fully expect to participate in Cleveland's revitalization, that Cleveland would return to glory - not her old glory, but a new glory that is entirely other. She will rise and her emerald necklace will adorn the Body, with laborers and resources, not only in the Midwest, but around the globe.
