Serving with Campus Crusade
for Christ in Romania


Dear friends in Christ,

It is our privilege to introduce our ministries and ourselves to you: Alex and Simona Palade

We have two boys Timothy and David and a girl-Estera. Timothy is 12 years David is 9 years and Estera is 2 years.
We were born and lived most of our life in a former Communist country Romania.

We received Christ in our life forty years ago. We were students at the Veterinarian Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. God was searching our heart during that time through the influence of a classmate. He also challenged us to begin to read the Bible.

We were a young Christian family, without a Church home where we could grow spiritually. Above everything else we had to resist opposition of the devil. And as Christ said, you will be persecuted this didnt take long to happen in our lives.

This persecution came from our parents, and from our classmates and friends. They all considered us crazy, but this didnt stop us from giving up our fight to walk after Lord.

We learned to put our lives and our plans in the Lords hands, and only through this did we succeed in winning. When we received the Lord, our joy was so great that we couldnt keep our voices silent.

We began to the shared the Word of Truth to our mates, friends, parents and relatives. In a short time our room became a place for praying and fellowship, begin together seven persons. Two of them John and Ana Tomeci, were our disciples when we were students and beginning with this year they will be missionaries together with us. Now John and Ana are missionaries in Timisoara, Romania.

In 1991 we met Romanian missionaries who finished the studies at University in Bucharest and who had chosen to became missionaries with Campus Crusade for Christ.
They were working along side American staff with Campus Crusade who were helping the Romanians began a ministry with students. All them were a great encouragement to us.

After one year with Gods help, my wife and I began to have Bible studies. At the end of the fifth year of the University in 1993, we decided to work for God with Campus Crusade.


Despite our very different backgrounds from which we were born, grew up and came to know Christ, He is the Master of our call and bringing us together as a couple, to serve Him and to share Gospel to lost peoples. We are now both on staff with the same Christian group, Campus Crusade for Christ, for more that 11 years and we serve overseas eight cities from the Romania between students from University: Bacau, Brasov, Sibiu , Ploiesti, Suceava, Targoviste,Slatina, Rm.Valcea, and Medias.

we will send you a prayer/news letter at one or two moths with fresh news from the field for you to be able to know how to join us in prayer;
