Mongolia is located in East and Central Asia. It is a landlocked country bordering Russia in the north and China in the south. The capital of the country is Ulaanbaatar. As of 2024, the population is 3 million 500. 95% of the population is Mongolian and 4% Kazakh. With the Democratic Revolution of 1990, Mongolia transitioned from socialism to a democratic country and open market economy. Since ancient times, there have been shamanism and worshipping the eternal sky in Mongolia, and from the 16th century, Buddhism spread widely in Mongolia as the third biggest religion. In this regard, Buddhists make up 81% of the total population. According to the survey in 2020, there are 568 local congregations in Mongolia, and the percentage of all Christians is less than 2% today.
