Today, there are more than 15,000 Cru missionaries serving in 170 countries around the globe. The gospel is going forth and it's exciting to watch. As a Cru supporter, you're apart of one of the largest forces for Jesus Christ in the world. 

What a privilege to be a part of helping fulfill the Great Commission. But sharing in the gospel isn't always easy. Many of these men and women serve in...

• Places that are hostile to the gospel.
• Places where it's challenging, and even dangerous, to be a Christian. 
• Places where it's difficult to raise money for Christian missions. 
• Places where there are few, if any, Christians to turn to for support. 

These Cru missionaries rely almost entirely on friends like us: people who love Jesus and want to see His name proclaimed around the world.

I recently returned from a trip to the Middle East, where I had the opportunity to meet with several of our staff there. Armand, one of our program directors, shared... "You see the turbulence around us. But actually, this makes the door more open for us to share our faith with [Middle Eastern] people. Their faith in [their religion] is going down and they can see the beauty of Christ and the beauty of Christians. We've had many reports saying, 'You Christians are totally different. You are kind. You are loving. We can feel and see the love of your Christ by what you are doing.' I believe we are building a great foundation for these people to be even more open to receiving Christ."

We want to help prevent more staff missionaries from leaving their posts. The stakes are just too high! 

My prayer is that no staff will have to leave their ministry in 2015 because of lack of funding!
