THE CHIFAMUNAS SERVING WITH CRU

I serve in the Sub Saharan African country called South Africa.  I am originally from Zimbabwe. My late husband and I believe that the Lord called us for nations! A day before my husband passed on the Lord laid 1 Cor  15:58,” Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.”I believe this was a great confirmation for me to keep on serving with Cru full time.

I joined the ministry of Cru in 2004 straight after my first degree, where I met my late husband. We got married in 2006 and the Lord blessed us with four kids, Heidi(14)Zayne(12)Anyssa(9)and Jaan(6.) Together we served in Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa. At the time of his death, we were leading our ministry strategy called Global Church Movement.After my loss, I believe that the Lord laid on my heart to start a ministry to widows. We then launched it in 2021 as Widows Forum(still within Cru under our Digital Strategy Pillar.) Our vision is to create a platform that will facilitate a holistic change in the narrative of an African Widow. The ministry is now in Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa.

I also serve in the National Leadership Team and Prayer Team.
