Anita has been serving with Cru/Campus Crusade for Christ - in Croatia registered as Udruga Fokus - since 2004. Vjenci joined the team in the fall of 2008. Josip was born in 2010.
We are committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus our Savior in our home country of Croatia, where 86% of people consider themselves Catholic, many say they believe in God, but most have no real relationship with Him. As a result, our beautiful country has become a place of corruption, disappointment and cynicism. Over the last 10 years about 10% of our population, mostly young families, has left the country, not because of economic reasons but because of a toxic social climate.
Our vision is to help restore hope and the values of God's Kingdom in our country and beyond. After serving for almost 20 years in the field with college students, the Lord has opened up the door for Vjenci to help build gospel-centered communities through music and the Alpha course and Anita's gifting is being used through training, mentoring and equipping the next generation of gospel workers.
In recent years, the Lord has been working powerfully among the youth in Croatia! We want to join the move of the Spirit and help spread the gospel to other major university cities in Croatia. Ultimately, we want to become a sending nation! It is time for Croatians to step out in the power of the Holy Spirit and take the gospel to other parts of postmodern secular Europe and the world.
We are so thankful to the Lord that He has called us to be workers in his field. Will you partner with us in taking the gospel to the world?
