We have been on staff in Portugal since 2000 and led the national ministry between 2005 and 2017. Last June (2019), we moved to Canelas, a small, but beautiful village 45km east from our hometown Oporto. Agape Portugal (CRU) has owned a property here since the 80s, known by many as ‘O Refúgio’.

Our desire is to have ‘O Refúgio’ open all year around and make it a welcoming place for all those who are seeking answers for life’s deep questions, who are struggling in their faith or who simply need to rest and experience restoration.  Through times of prayer, study, work and community living, those questions come into perspective.  At the center of it all, in every instant, are God’s Word, Jesus’ loving example and the Spirit’s guidance.

This is our passion – to share the Living Word with all whom God puts in our path!
