Hello, my name is Artem. My wife Natasha and I are missionaries with Ukraine for Christ, known in the US as Cru.

We both became Christians in the early 2000s. As students, we were part of Campus Crusade for Christ in Moldova and Ukraine.

After we finished university, we joined the Cru staff in 2005 — Natasha in Moldova, and I in Ukraine.

In 2008, we met at a Cru staff conference in Hungary. We became friends, and two years later, in 2010, we got married. Natasha moved to Ukraine, and we served together in student ministry in Odessa until 2019.

In 2019, we moved to Kyiv to help with leadership development and support-raising training for Ukraine for Christ staff.

We have four children. After the war started, we left Ukraine thinking it would be just for three weeks.

But God opened a new opportunity for ministry there. Now we live in Hungary, and since August 2024, we have been serving in Budapest with a team helping Ukrainian refugees. 

God is opening many hearts. Recently, at one of our Bible study groups, a woman told us she loved talking about the Bible because that’s how faith is born. It’s amazing to see what God is doing. Just a couple of weeks ago, a man who had been attending our Bible study for two years received Christ.
