Jesus has left us a firm command – to be the light and the salt in the world and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. He has chosen you and me to bring about the changes in this world. That is what I want to do at Agape – to bring about the changes in students' lives.

Agape Estonia

Agape Estonia is a Mission Organisation which is a part of worldwide organisation Campus Crusade For Christ International (CRU). Our goal is to proclaim the good news in Estonia.

Why am I missionary?

When I was studying at the University of Tartu, being at the same time also one of the youth leaders at my home church, I said to God that one day I want to have a job where I could combine 2 things -  to serve God and serve the youth. I have always thought that more than to have a good career and a well accepted job, I
would rather be interested in people around me, who need to hear about God.  I'm happy that God has opened the doors for that and since 2005 I am working at Agape Estonia.

Campus Ministry in Estonia

Estonia is a small beautiful country with 1,3 million people. About 40.000 of them are students. We have 2 university cities - Tallinn (the capital city of Estonia) and Tartu (the campus city with one of the oldest universities in Europe - the University of Tartu). I serve in Campus Ministry in Tartu. 

Students in Estonia are not open - Christianity is not very popular and many students would rather call themselves atheists. But once they open up, you can see that there is a deep desire to know, if God really exists. Our goal is to reach as many students as possible and even though our Campus team is very small, we can reach more students through Christian student led groups.
