Greetings to you all from our family in the matchless name of our Lord & savior Jesus Christ.

OUR LIFE JOURNEY—

I am M.V.Johnson, a full time missionary of India Campus  Crusade for Christ. Though I was born and brought up in a Christian family yet my heart was far away from God. I was not leading a life fulfilling God’s plan for me. Going to Church, attending prayer meetings, family devotions were never the priorities of my life. As I continued with my life in this way, I was completely drifted towards the pleasures of the world. When I joined college I had a desire to pursue my degree in commerce so that I can go for Banking profession. My worldly focus led me to lose my focus from my studies and led me to be part of the friend circle where my life was entangled with all the filthy things of the World. As a result of this unstable life I failed in my College examination. The entire world seemed to be dark before me, as I was completely shocked by exam result. I started wondering what is then left in life and for what I am  going to live in this World. The more I tried to seek the answer to my life the more I got frustrated.

As I continued leading my life with the search of finding answers to the “Purpose of my Life”, that was the time when I came in contact with a staff of India Campus Crusade for Christ. This staff helped me to restore my lost relationship with the Lord. He ministered to me through Ps.119:9 which says “How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to thy word”God spoke to me through this verse and I realized that, my inequities has separated me from my Lord.

So, on 15th February 1988, I committed my life into the hands of the Lord and prayerfully confessed my sins to restore back my fellowship with Him. As I did so, I started to see the  difference in terms of my life perspectives. I prioritized spending time in prayer and studying the word of God and asking Him to help me to know His will for my life. To confirm His will for my future life I took 15 days of ‘Fasting & Prayer’ as a result of that the Lord revealed His plan before me through a vision and I got convicted that the Lord needs me to serve Him among the youth, as there are many youth those who has the same struggles that I had gone through and they need someone to give them a hope to live for and to guide them to know the true creator and sustainer of their lives that is Jesus Christ. At last in the year 1999, my  Savior opened the door for me to serve Him as a full time staff in and through the ministry of India Campus Crusade for Christ. So, since then I am working as a missionary among the youth on the college campuses. In later part of my life in 2005 God led me to be united with Sagarika through the Holy matrimony who belongs to a God fearing family. Over the years she has inspired and motivated me to do more for our Lord. In 2006 God called her to join her hands in my ministry as a full time staff through this movement for the expansion of the Lord’s Kingdom. At present we both as family serving the Lord in Rourkela, Orissa, which is the graveyard for many missionaries and believers.

OUR MINISTRY JOURNEY—

             My ministry journey started in the year of 1998. In the first phase of my ministry in 1999 I went through a 9 months training of Campus Crusade for Christ under the Great Commission Training Center, Bangalore. After the successful completion of my training on Personal Evangelism and Discipleship, in 2000 I was sent to Patna, Bihar to begin the ministry there as a field staff on the college campuses. In this phase of my ministry the Lord helped me to get exposed to the real and felt needs of the students’ life. As a result of my ministry there God enabled me to win many souls for His glory on the college campuses and build them up in their faith for the Lord. I am thankful to God because even after 10 years many of those students are still in touch with me and share their life with me.

After two years of my ministry among the college students in Patna in 2002 God led me to be part of a pioneering campus ministry team in Rourkela, Orissa. God used me miraculously among the youths and helped me to start 6 Bible study groups among the college youth. As the Lord promised that “if you will be faithful in few things then I will put you in charge of many things”. I humbly thank God as in 2005 He called me to take up the leadership role of this Rourkela team. It was not easy for me to take up this great responsibility but in God’s strength as I took up this challenge, till now I witness how He keeps promises to be true towards me and  towards His calling to my leadership responsibility. As I lead this team the Lord helped me to understand that “Leadership is a God given opportunity with God-given capacity & responsibility to help fulfill the God given purpose and to leave the influence (model) before the God-given people”. Since then this became the measuring stick for me to help guide me at every level of my leadership. 

OUR VISION —

           We envision building 50 effective stewards to lead the movement in 10 College campuses and We envision building 15000 Lay leaders to see 15000 House Churches by the end of 2023. .

OUR MISION —

             To glorify God by building a Spiritual Movement through the   development of multiplying servant steward leaders to help build the kingdom of God.

OUR NEEDS —

Campus Crusade for Christ requires each staff member to find their own Ministry Partners to invest in their ministry. In this way, each Ministry Partner has the privilege of having their own personal missionary on the mission field. Being a part of this faith ministry right now our immediate need is to raise more ministry partners who would like to partner with us through their prayerful and financial investments.

Our current need is to raise $600 (Rs.50000) every month so that we can regularly and effectively focus to the Vision for which God has given us this responsibility.
