The primary purpose of this strategic project is to support THE GATHERING: Coaches' Wives Coming Together.
The mission of THE GATHERING is to provide a welcoming place for coaches' wives to connect with women who share their common experience -- to be encouraged, inspired and challenged by hope found in Jesus.
2020 & 2021: Traditionally, the in-person catalytic events would have taken place at the NCAA Final Four; however, they transformed into eleven virtual programs, all staying true to the mission.
While virtual, The Gathering expanded its reach, for which we are grateful. Yet, coming together in-person in New Orleans on Thursday evening, March 31, 2022, to celebrate 15 years of The Gathering fills us with joyful anticipation.
2022: Our theme, Flourish, is developing into a dynamic program distinctly designed by coaches' wives for coaches' wives.
While emphasizing the definition of "flourish" -- to grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way; thrive -- the program will feature uplifting stories from coaches' wives, engaging table discussion, and, PRISCILLA SHIRER, an internationally recognized author, actress and faith-filled teacher as our keynote speaker.
Although health protocols and changes in the leadership of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) is prompting adjustments to how ministry events will take place during the NABC convention, we are committed to presenting The Gathering as a free gift to coaches' wives... with the help of generous giving from friends like you.
