This June, I'll be traveling to Dearborn, Michigan, for the annual Arab International Festival. Surprisingly, Dearborn has the highest Arab population of any city in the country.

Each year more Arabs move there to pursue a better life. But, many haven't received a warm welcome. It's only human to feel threatened by people with a different faith and way of life. But it doesn't have to be that way!

When I went to the festival last year, I found that most of these families are just like yours and mine. You can see for yourself in the pictures I've included with my letter. I'm sure you'll agree: these are some of the warmest, friendliest people you'd ever want to meet.

What concerns me more than the cultural misconception they struggle with each day is their spiritual well-being. They don't know Jesus.

Today, I'm asking for your generous support to help share Jesus' love at the Arab International Festival in Dearborn.

Last year more than 3,500 people visited our festival booth. I was able to personally sign a copy of More Than a Carpenter or my new novel, The Witness, for each one. This year we hope to reach twice as many people.

These men and women are open to Jesus. It's just that most have never had anyone tell them about His love in a way they understand. That's why I want to sign and give away 8,200 copies of my books in Dearborn - one for every person who comes into our booth. More importantly, Ill spend time showing them the deep love that Jesus has for them.
