Reaching Every Student in Southeast Asia

When Bill and Vonette Bright first launched Campus Crusade for Christ as a campus ministry in 1951, the underlying concept was to "win the campus today and change the world tomorrow." More than 60 years later, the mission is still the same.
Today, the campus ministry of Southeast Asia has over 350 full-time trained staff members serving on the university campuses in the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, and some undisclosed countries. The goal of these staff members is to train students to reach students!
One of those trained students wrote in her diary: “Met with Muslim, Buddhists, agnostics and free thinkers (today). We started spiritual conversations with them that led to sharing the gospel. Several of these students received Christ! Praise God for His work!”
In 2011, more than 2,800 students received training in evangelism and discipleship. These trained students helped open 341 new campus ministries, a 115 percent increase from the previous year.
