Within this generation, India will become the world’s most populous nation. Only three percent of the population follows Christ. However, God has stirred a passionate vision in the Indian church to bring change to this reality. Their desire is to see a church planted in each of India’s 641,000 villages.

Teams of experienced workers have been placed in 230 locations throughout India to build models of multiplying and lay-led churches. In the first 30 months over 1.5 million people have heard the gospel and 5,370 house churches have been started! Praise the Lord!

Additional funds are needed for evangelism strategies to target the most unreached people groups in India. These funds will also be used to disciple new believers and train lay-pastors to plant and lead new churches. The goal for 2012-2013 is to start an additional 5,000 new churches.

Momentum is building. A growing number of mission organizations, churches and individuals are partnering together with Campus Crusade for Christ. People are hearing the gospel and new churches are starting up among the most unreached Indians. Your financial gifts will accelerate this momentum.
