This time of year is a beautiful season of harvest. As I look around and see farmers bringing in the corn, wheat and other crops, I feel so thankful that in America we are able to grow food and feed ourselves from our bounty.

Yet in the countries where we minister, they dont have the infrastructure or technical ability to feed their starving millions. Famine raging through the Horn of Africa is driving 1,200 children a day to cross borders looking for food. We recently heard of others like Nellie, an elderly widow in Zambia caring for 8 orphans. On the best of days, shes only able to feed them one meal. In another nation, were ministering to people who are known to oppose Christianity but because of the food you help provide, many are changing their hearts and minds about Jesus.

God has called us to help the most vulnerable and poorest of people. It takes just 10 to help provide a nourishing meal.
