Our Vision: “Developing the Next Generation of Leaders for Cru”
In 15-20 years almost all of our current Cru leaders will no longer be leading. In their places will be the leaders we are now developing. If we fail now - Cru does not fail today or tomorrow - but may fail 15-20 years from now! History is filled with the stories of companies and organizations which were once vital but no longer exist. A closer study reveals that in many cases there was no intentional effort to develop their next generation of leaders.
The Senior Leadership Initiative (SLI) is our U.S. Emerging Leader – Leadership Development Program.
This two-year Leadership Development program was first launched in July, 2005. July, 2021 marked our 16th anniversary as we graduated our 8th group – SLI 8. Over 200 SLI Graduates now populate a multitude of Cru Leadership Positions both here in the U.S. and around the globe. We will launch SLI9 for 30 Cru Emerging Leaders in July, 2022. The future of Cru is in good hands!
SLI9 Budget from July 2022 – July 2024: $480,000
Executive Coaching Cohort (ECC) is for Cru Leaders currently serving in National Leadership Roles.
In February, 2017 we launched our ECC for 24 Cru U.S. National Leaders who accepted our invitation to be coached every other week by outstanding leaders from outside of Cru from February 2017-2019. In February, 2019 we launched ECC2 for 43 current Cru U.S. and Canadian Leaders. And in February 2022 we launched ECC3 (pictured above) for 42 Cru U.S. and Canadian Leaders along with 42 outstanding leaders from outside of Cru who will coach our Cru leaders every other week for the next two years.
ECC3 Budget from February 2022 – February 2024 - $160,000
Global Operations Leaders Coaching Initiative (GOCT) for Cru Operations Leaders that circle the Globe - creating and maintaining the infrastructure that allows Cru to minister in over 190 Nations.
In June 2014 we launched our first GOCT for 15 of our Cru Operations and their coaches. In June 2022 we will launch the fourth iteration of our GOCT for 30+ Cru Operations Leaders and 30+ outstanding Leaders from outside of Cru who will Coach our Cru Operations Leaders every other week for the next two years.
GOCT4 Budget from June 2022 – June 2024 - $100,000
Total Cru Leadership Development Budget from February 2022 – July 2024: $740,000
We wish Leadership Development was free. We also wish Leadership Development was cheap! But $740,000 is what it’s going to take to write the next chapter of developing the next generation of leaders for Cru!
