When it comes to what we generally see as success, high school students in the inner city rarely get a glimpse of it. Broken families, low graduation rates, and opportunities that are far out of reach are way too common.

Yet even in these environments, Cru Indy (formerly known as Student venture) is making a difference.

Since 2003, we have had the awesome opportunity to share God’s love and truth with inner-city high school students starting at Arlington High school right here in Indianapolis. Because of God’s grace doors are now open to us all around the city! Shortridge, Arsenal Tech, John Marshall, North Central, Warren Central, Broad Ripple and even more are teaming with students who have either started or are gearing up for Cru movements to begin. But we can’t do it alone. It’s going to take a community of caring adults to help reach this community of bright yet underprivileged youth with the Gospel that changes life.
