Irina and I reached out to Russian junior high and high school students in Moscow, Russia for 18 years before transitioning to a new ministry focus in 2012 among international students in the USA through Cru's Bridges International.  

Irina's is part of the  Bridges national prayer team keeping all Bridges staff updated on prayer concerns and opportunities; Spiritual artillery into the enemy's territory!

In Jan of 2025 Kyle joined Cru's Staff Care team as a MPD (Ministry Partner Development) coach training New staff headed over seas in developing a vibrant team of prayer and financial partners to send and keep staff on mission for the long haul.

Sadly, almost 47% of missionaries leave their assingments before their intended committment span due to lack of funding.  This is due more to lack of training than resourse availability!  God's people (believers) are generous when they  catch the vision and are approached properly. 

Our ultimate purpose is to see students experience Jesus' love, built in their faith in the word and sent back to their countries as ambassadors for Christ. So sending and keeping missionaries in the field is SO critical and strategic.  After all, "A bird in hand is worth two in the bush!"
