In 1996, Kathryn and I felt the Lord leading us into a full-time ministry that lined up with our passion for marriages and families. During that process, we learned of FamilyLife's commitment to rebuild families by strengthening them with God's timeless, biblical principles. In 1997 we were privileged to join the staff of FamilyLife as full-time missionaries.

For eight years we served in Little Rock, AR with the sole purpose of reaching people for Christ and strengthening families through biblical principles. In particular, we worked with several volunteers in the mid-Atlantic region to spread the news of the upcoming Weekend to Remember conferences in those locations.

In January of 2007 our family moved to Orlando, Florida in order to serve in the Office of the President at the Campus Crusade for Christ (now called Cru) Global Headquarters.  While Don continues to serve with FamilyLife, Kathryn works in the Leadership Development and Human Resources area for the US ministries of Cru.  She serves in the US Staff Care department and her heart is to provide excellent member care for Cru staff so that every staff member flourishes in the mission.
