Matt & Liz serve together with The Jesus Film Project.  Matt serves on the Executive Leadership Team as the Director of Development.

The JESUS Film (which is the Gospel of Luke on film), has now been translated into over 1950 languages.  According to pastor Rick Warren, it is “The most effective evangelistic tool ever invented.”

Viewed by more than 8 billion people in 229 countries, and seeing nearly 400 Million individuals indicate a decision to follow Jesus after watching the film, God has used the JESUS film powerfully in these last days--but there are still so many who have never even had one chance to hear the life-giving message of the Gospel.

As we fulfill our part in the Great Commision, our goal is that every people group and every single person on earth would have at least one chance to see JESUS!

Prior to joining The Jesus FIlm Project, Matt and Liz worked in the campus ministry of Cru for 13 years.  They've been married for 26 years and have two children, Levi (18) and Lexi (14).  

Matt's story is one of incredible life-change as God extended His mercy and grace to an angry, broken drug-addict at a Grateful Dead concert in 1993.  He met Jesus and his life was changed forever.  Liz met Matt in Austria at a Torchbearer's Bible school the following year...and well, the rest is history.
