I am originally from the Chicago area and graduated from Illinois State University in 2003.  From a young age, the Lord burdened my heart for the people of East Asia to know Him.  After graduating and working for 2 years in my field of study, I quit my job in 2005 and moved to East Asia to work with CRU as International Campus Staff (ICS).  I lived and served on staff in East Asia for over 6 years until July 2012, when I moved back to the US and transitioned to Bridges International (BI)--the international student ministry of CRU.

After co-leading the local Chicago team for 4 years, in 2021, the Lord provided an opportunity for me to join with the National Bridges Mission Director (BMD) team to coach and shepherd Bridges Team Leaders nationally to reach their scope of international students.  It's been a huge blessing and encouragement for me to specifically come alongside the Team Leaders in Chicago, DC, at Purdue University, the University of Illinois and the University at Buffalo in New York.  These 5 cities and schools are "home" to approximately a total of 62,418 international students!  It's been really amazing to see what the Lord does through these teams!

I get extremely excited when I think about thousands of international students coming to the U.S. to study and then returning to their home countries, not only with their degrees, but with the Gospel!  My passion is to see these students walk with the Lord, not just while they are in America, but for a lifetime!  Imagine the impact on the world!

I also serve as the Sending Coordinator for a National BI team called the Chinese Network.  My role on this team is to connect Chinese brothers and sisters returning to their home country (a.k.a returnees) with fellowships and growing communities in the cities they are returning to.  It's been said that only 20% of students returning to East Asia will walk with Jesus for a lifetime, my prayer is that it would become 100%!  

I am incredibly honored and grateful to serve alongside you and am excited to see how the Lord will use us as we step out in faith together and trust Him for even greater things.
