Karen and I are very excited to lead and be a part of the Denver - Boulder area campus team.  We have both been on staff with Cru since 2007 serving in East Asia, Colorado, Nebraska, and North Carolina. We've been leading the team and movement at CU together since 2014. In 2023, we have added the Denver area universities to the scope we oversee -- primarily Denver University and Colorado School of Mines. To us, Cru's commitment to building up college students in their faith and challenging them to go to the world for the sake of the Great Commission is the biggest reason we love the vision of Cru.

We feel that God has led us both together (we got married in May 2012) to in a place where the Gospel is often times proclaimed no louder than a whisper in the midst of so many other social pressures and worldviews to students' ears.  We love working at CU-Boulder and the Denver universities, and have a vision to not only see Jesus proclaimed as Lord among so many students in Colorado, but also to mobilize them to the corners of the earth to share the life changing effects of the Gospel.  Although I don't think anyone would characterize CU-Boulder as a place where living out your faith as a Christian is an easy thing to do, we are trusting and praying to the Lord that He will use us to make his name great in this place and will actually use hundreds, even thousands of students freshmen years here to be a time where the meet Jesus in a real way.  

Karen and I live in the Boulder area with our three girls, Samantha, Avery, and Josie.
