Church Planters with Cru Church Movements

Making Disciples who Faithfully Follow Jesus in this Generation and the Next

The Cottiers serve as Church Planters with a division of Cru called Cru Church Movements.    As an ordained pastor, James is partnering with Cru and his denomination* to plant churches that make and send disciples who faithfully follow Jesus - in this generation and the next.   James is the lead planter and pastor of their current church plant, Fountain City Church.  

James and Lindsay seek to engage with the unchurched and de-churched in their community to introduce them to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.   

*James is an ordained Teaching Pastor with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). He graduated from Calvin College in 2002 and then Denver Seminary in 2010 with a Master of Divinity (M. Div.)  James joined the ministry of Cru in 2011 after working in the missions department of Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, CO, and from 2015-2018 he also served as an Associate Teaching Pastor at New Life CityChurch in downtown Kansas City.

The Cottiers live in Overland Park, Kansas with their 3 children.
