“What is it that sets apart the kids who stay in the church?” Studies show that one of the primary reasons kids say they are rejecting the tenets of Christian faith is due to intellectual skepticism. When kids were asked why they were skeptical about Christianity, the most prevalent answer was,

“No one could answer my questions.”

When our kids can’t get answers about their tough questions, they turn to the web for answers. While technology is not bad in and of itself, the Internet opens the door for atheists, agnostics and skeptics to reach young seekers — creating a crisis for our kids.

Because of this Josh McDowell Ministry has developed the Heroic Truth Experience — a series of intergenerational events to equip parents, pastors and youth with:

• Answers to critical questions
• Sound apologetic teaching
• The ability to live, defend and share their faith

Josh McDowell and his son, Sean, teach and equip parents, youth leaders and pastors to pass on a credible, relevant Christian faith to the next generation in ways that are reliable and relatable. As a team they embolden parents and youth with answers to their toughest questions.
The program is designed to be presented in a church setting over a two-day period. The format is experiential, providing participants opportunities to interact with Josh and Sean, see actual examples of biblical artifacts and take away practical application ideas and materials.

Five live events are scheduled for 2016–2017. The Ministry will also begin development of the virtual version of the experience, including five new motion graphic videos, which will be shared across the United States and around the world.
