As freshmen, Emma and I stepped onto campus at the University of South Dakota unaware of what the Lord had in store for us in the next few years. The Cru community became our family on campus, and the Lord used our time in Cru to teach us how to walk with the Him as an adult, to open our hearts for the lost students around us, and to equip us to share our faith with those students. When we graduated, we knew we wanted to be a part of helping other students encounter Christ in that life-changing community.  

Now we get to serve with the Southern Minnesota team at Minnesota State University to do just that. Thousands of new freshmen step on campus in the southern Minnesota region each year. That's thousands of students who walk into a campus culture that revolves around an anxiety-soaked pursuit of academic and financial success or the college party life. 

No matter which side of that campus culture they land on, that ever-present question of "Who are you and who will you become?" will drive their college experience. For the sake of those thousands of students knowing Jesus and the hope that we have in Him, Emma and I are so excited to serve with Cru in Southern Minnesota.
