Faculty Commons® is the faculty and graduate student ministry of Cru. We want to help you bring the resources of the university (faculty, grad students, undergraduates, and ideas) to the world for the advance of the loving rule and reign of Jesus Christ. We dream of the day when communities of Christian faculty and grad students will wrestle with the ever-challenging question: “As Christ-followers, what should we do in the academy?”
The 4 million faculty/grad students in the United States, and the 10 million globally, help shape the thoughts and values of our future leaders and the entire world. Faculty Commons contends for the hearts and minds of these professors, grad students, and undergrad students.

Latin American/International Initiatives
These funds support our international mission efforts — professors on short-term mission trips with Cru students to share the gospel with students and faculty in other countries. We have completed translating our vision book for professors, A Grander Story, into Spanish and have many opportunities to mobilize and equip Christian faculty in Latin America and other parts of the world.

A Common Call Faculty Conferences
This fund partially underwrites these strategic conferences that help Christian professors and graduate students connect and draw strength from God and each other. We host ten or more of these conferences across the U.S. each year to encourage Christians in academia and to equip them with vision and practical ideas for how God can use them on campus.

Launch New Faculty Movements
This fund helps us launch faculty ministries on new campuses. We dream of the day every professor and student at every university will know at least one professor who truly follows Christ. We are active on over 300 campuses, giving us access to one third of the students and faculty in America. This school year our goal is to expand to 30 new universities.

Digital Strategies and Online Resources
This funding is to help pioneer new digital tools and strategies to increase our web presence, creating online resources to supplement our vision book A Grander Story, our A Common Call regional conference strategy, and other vital resources.
National Graduate Student Ministry
The 3 million U.S. graduate students compose 15% of all university students, yet their unique needs are not met by most campus ministries. We now have Cru grad ministries at 23 universities and plan to launch on at least seven additional universities this school year, helping graduate students move from "stressed and busy" to kingdom-minded ambassadors in their daily lives on campus.
