Serving with Destino, the Hispanic/Latino ministry of Cru
Dave & Lisa have spent most of their lives helping to reach the world's college students for Christ. They spent ten years in France and Brazil, reaching students, and training national staff to do the same. They now work with Cru's Destino ministry . Destino seeks to reach the least reached group of college students in the US, the more than 3 million Latino and Hispanic students. Lisa's focus is on mentoring all the women in Destino. Her lifetime of ministry gives her a wealth of experience and wisdom to encourage these women as they minister around the country. Dave is involved in recruiting and training all our Interns and part time staff. Together they use their experience and heart for the staff to serve in the role of caring for the staff. They come alongside those that are hurting or need encouragement.
Dave also overseas our partnerships in a part of North Africa we are committed to reaching. This role involves recruiting and sending short term and long term teams to the area. In many ways this is a continuation of the ministry they had in Paris years ago.
The Trotter Family
Their 4 children were born during their years in France and Brazil.
- Tabitha (Henriksen), together with her husband Todd, works with Cru's athletic ministry AIA. Todd was a professional cyclist for a number of years, and they now work full time ministering to professional cyclists around the world. They have four children: Logan (9), Virginia (7), Taylor (5) and Davis (3 ). They live in Northern Spain.
- Ramsay and his wife Tiffany live in Orlando and work with Cru's Leader Impact ministry targeting emerging leaders in major cities around the world. Their have three children: Brooklyn (8), Mason (6) and Nolan (3).
- Boyd and his wife Mary live and work in Jacksonville, FL. They also have four children: William (7), Phillip (5), Ruby (3) and Nathan who is one.
- Courtney (Walker) and her husband Adam work with Cru in Podgorica, Montenegro. They have Colby (5) Caroline (3), Lyla (2) and Poppy (6mo)! Adam was recently asked to lead their team.
