As demonstrated by the revolutions throughout the area, youth in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia are seeking a better life for themselves. Unfortunately, these youth, Lebanon (Nic's home country) included, are pursuing a better life in the wrong places - many times through emigration, politics, "religion," drugs or materialism. We both sense God calling us to continue to serve this area of the world, helping these young men and women know the true "better life" in Jesus Christ. 

Though political, ethnic, religious, and denominational differences separate people in this diverse society, we've found one thing that brings them together - SPORTS. Despite their drastic differences, as soon as a ball is placed in the middle of the room, these youth become one for the love of the game. In light of this, God is leading us to use the platform of sports to reach people through Athletes in Action, the sports ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Nicolas serves on the Global Council for AIA for this region of the world, based out of our location in Central Florida.
