Every day, millions of women and children are forced to walk for miles in search of water — and the water they collect might not even be clean. They face dangerous waterborne illnesses. They miss days of school and work every month due to sickness and exhaustion.

Your gift today will be DOUBLED by matching funds to provide twice as many children and families with clean water. Your generosity will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000 through June 30.

Over the next few months, our partners at Unto, the humanitarian ministry of Cru, need your

support to complete 41 water projects in 12 countries. Each water well will serve at least 500 people — and often many more! Your gift today will help ensure every project continues as planned!

Just recently, local missionaries where able to drill a new clean water in Headman Bwanado’s community. When villagers opposed the work just because the missionaries were Christians, the headman spoke up …

“Our very own brothers from [our religion] have never considered helping us though they know that we struggle to find good and clean water. Now, these Christians have seen our problems and have decided to help us. Should we really chase them away? I suggest that we accept them to do for us what they have brought to us.”

Clean water projects are one of the most effective ways for local missionaries to access Unreached People Groups. The gift of clean water helps break down barriers and allows them to build meaningful relationships. At nearly every well-opening ceremony, the gospel is shared, and in many of these communities, new churches are born.
