After graduating from the University of Toledo in 2002 with a Business Information Systems degree, I (Randall) jumped right into full-time music ministry alongside Mia.  From 2002-2023, we traveled with Cru Music to hundreds of cities, military bases, and college campuses on 5 continents, sharing the gospel with tens-of-thousands of people. 

In 2010, I had a special opportunity to use my technology degree by creating the first evangelistic Cru smartphone app called God Tools (download it for free in your app store!).  Then, from 2017 until mid-2023, I served as Co-Director of Cru Music.  

I am currently working as a Campus Ministry Technology Specialist.  God has brought me full-circle, back to using my skills and degree in technology, while also filling a critical position within the Campus Ministry.  In this new role, I directly support Cru’s National Field Ministry leaders & all staff serving out of Indianapolis, Boulder, and Los Angeles.  

Technology has become an integral tool used by the Campus ministry to accomplish the Great Commission.  Cru's national leadership, HR, operations, development, and marketing roles all rely on computers as their primary ministry tool.  These staff spend much of their work day in front of computers and in video meetings to serve our missionaries in the field.  As you can imagine, if their technology is unreliable, it can have a negative impact on the staff they are serving, and ultimately on Cru's mission of win-build-send.

In addition to being a full-time-homeschooling mom, Mia serves with Cru Music as a vocal coach and evaluator, drawing on her years of experience as a touring musician and front person for many bands.

We desire to see every tribe, tongue, and nation know Christ!   It is an honor to use our God-given gifts to serve Him at Cru!
