Hello from Missoula Montana & Ciao from Florence Italy,

We love seeing the story God is writing in our lives, and love inviting others to the power of the gospel in their own story.

After 10yrs of college ministry at the University of Montana, we moved to Florence, Italy during 2023-2024 to gain wisdom from international missions colleagues and to deepen our experience of sharing the gospel with the world--sharing a relationship with Jesus which goes deeper than historic traditions and gilded cathedrals, bringing hope to a beautiful-but-hurting world.

Now back in Montana, our roles focus on reaching Faculty & Graduate students at the University of Montana, while serving Cru Missionaries with national logistics and admin support. Bob enjoys building relationships on campus and walking with people through whatever season of life they are in -- to show them how walking with Jesus day-by-day can bring hope, life, and purpose in this ever-changing world. Deanne loves organizing dynamics and words to help missions thrive, while providing care for missionary kids through quality childcare events.

Our Stories:
Robert/Cowboy Bob ~ "Born and raised on a farm and ranch in Eastern Idaho, I have always been a country kid. I grew up and had aspirations of being a pilot, but God had other things in mind for me. Three kidney transplants and the loss of close family members have been catalysts in bringing me to a strong faith and deep dependence on Jesus--not only as my Savior, but also as my day-by-day Guide to life."

Deanne ~ "In college, I realized that God had more for me than just anxiety and insecurity. God started freeing me to love others and live with joy. After a master's degree in speech-language pathology at UConn, I moved to Montana to do speech therapy with elementary kids. I met Robert/Bob in Missoula in 2013, we were married in 2014, and now work in ministry with Cru together."
