I'M GOING TO ALASKA!!!!
Hello wonderful people!
I want to catch you up on what’s happening in my life. I am currently a junior at the NC State, and I’ve been having an amazing time! Over the past 3 years, I’ve learned a lot, made great friends and grown in my Christian faith. I’ve also gotten involved with several student clubs and communities, including a Christian ministry called Cru.
This summer, I have an amazing opportunity to take part in one of Cru’s summer missions with two of my best friends! I’m heading to beautiful Anchorage, Alaska, where about 20 other students and Cru staff will join us in spreading the Good News of Jesus in the Anchorage community and pursuing deeper relationships with God, all in the the setting of the rugged Alaskan wilderness!
Anchorage is Alaska’s largest city, and with that comes diversity and greater opportunities to meet people’s needs in the name of Jesus. My time on the Alaska Summer Mission will be focused on exploring Alaska’s cultural landscape and connecting people to Jesus and Christian community. I’ll be equipped with invaluable spiritual leadership and ministry skills that I can take with me back to my campus!
In order to make this opportunity possible, I will need a team of ministry partners who will give to Cru to cover the costs of room and board for the summer, as well as transportation. All gifts will be for my summer mission expenses.
By June 14, I will need a total of $2,700. Would you prayerfully consider joining my team by providing a gift?
Whatever amount you can give, it will be the right amount. Regardless of how God leads you to give, please keep me in your prayers as I prepare for this Summer Mission and head to Alaska.
